About this Derinkuyu guide

This site explains Derinkuyu Underground City and the practical choices around a visit. It is an independent publication, not the museum operator, a government service or an official ticket seller.

What the guide checks

Museum pages supply venue information. Supplier pages describe their own tour services. Historical claims need a named publication or museum account, with uncertain dates and estimates kept distinct from observed features.

We do not claim first-hand visits or tour tests. A supplier itinerary does not prove what happened on a particular departure. Where two parts of a source disagree, the guide names the conflict rather than choosing a convenient answer.

Photographs and diagrams

Documentary photos carry a creator, source and licence. A generated travel scene is labelled as illustrative and cannot serve as evidence of an ancient room or a named landmark. Original diagrams state what they explain and whether they are to scale.

Corrections

Use the correction form to report an error. Give the page title, the sentence or detail and the source you think resolves it. The form reaches the publication; museum ticket requests must go to the museum.
