Reading the guide

The site serves static pages, local fonts, photographs and a local search index. It has no enabled analytics identifier or advertising tags. It does not load a third-party map or video player in article text.

Hosting processes request information needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as an IP address and requested path. Cloudflare provides the hosting and request protection. Search runs on the site; you do not need an account to use it.

Affiliate links

Trip.com offer links use the CJ affiliate network to attribute bookings. Following an outbound affiliate link takes you through the network to Trip.com, where the network or merchant can set cookies or use similar identifiers under their own privacy and consent policies. These services receive request information when you follow the link. We do not load their tracking scripts or set affiliate cookies while you read this guide. Contact messages

If you submit the form, its email address, message and optional name and subject are used to handle your enquiry. The form uses a spam check and short-lived limits linked to the sending IP. Do not send a passport, payment details or other sensitive records.

The delivery queue has a maximum expiry of 90 days. A delivered message may remain in the publication's mailbox while the enquiry is handled. Ask through the form if you want your message deleted. Security rate-limit records expire separately, within about 25 hours.

Your choices

You can ask about a stored message, request a correction or request deletion through the contact form. We may need enough information to identify your enquiry. We do not sell contact details or add a sender to an email-marketing list.
